the official magazine of the city of luxembourg has undergone a “revolution”
in changing to a newspaper format and adopting a completely fresh layout.
very close to the a3 format when opened out, the magazine comes folded
and split into two separate sections:
-one is the “city magazine” with information about the city and developments
through influential people and “ordinary” citizens. it includes shopping, restaurants,
nightlife, city districts and their residents and current issues …
-the other, “city agenda”, gives a mix of cultural events of the city and surrounding
areas. every section (theatre, dance, opera, pop music, classical music, kids,
conferences, events, exhibitions, “cinémathèque” and cinema) is accompanied
by a selection of highlights, followed by a day-to-day programme listing.INgrid is responsible for art-direction and monthly production of the "city magazine ".

DESIRS fall/winter 2009
the biannual magazine "désirs" proposes trends, stimulates desire
and cultivates passion. it is an open window to the top-of-the-line,
fashion collections, accessories, interiors and decoration.
its aim is to appeal to readers within the context of their private life
and to suggest shopping ideas through portraits, lifestyles,
a list of addresses and shop window pages.the team of INgrid designed and layouted this 92 -page magazine.

MAKING A MAGAZINE project at COLOPHON2009
in just three days (13 to 15 march 2009), the team of INgrid designed and layouted
this 100-page magazine.
on friday at 16h, there was an initial briefing by kati krause (as editor)
and guido kröger (as art director).a flatplan was worked out - and a call for entries
for writers, photographers, illustrators and designers. about only 48 hours later,
the official colophon2009-magazine with 100 pages was finished - unbelievable!the printed magazine is out now.

the in-flight magazine flydoscope offers passengers travelling with the company luxair
a genuine reading contract: escapism, culture, business, the art of living
and practical information from the airline company.

TEMPO RATES 2010
tempo, the advertising management company of mike koedinger editions,
has made its mark as a major player in the publicity arena of luxembourg’s
printed press. with around 10 titles totalling over 1,5 million copies, tempo’s activities
are now concentrated in 2 high profile media formats: printed magazines and internet
sites. tempo offers media solutions not only for mike koedinger editions but also
for external clients.

the july-august editions of the monthly magazine of the city of luxembourg,
"rendez-vous" and the "city agenda" are out. this is the last edition of "rendez-vous".
the new CITY MAGAZINE LUXEMBOURG focused on people, with more succinct

at the DESIGN BACKSTAGE -expositionINgrid has been working on the editorial design and production of ‘paperJam’
since conception and its first release in June 2000.
a strict editorial and design policy, combined with the largest team
of specialist economic journalists in the country, have made ’paperJam‘
the benchmark for business news and feature articles covering hot topics
in economic and financial markets.
the magazine has been re-designed 7 times, including 4 major works.
for last re-design (september 2008) the briefing was clear and simple:
help the reader to find their way easier, give room for photography and make it unique.
since its inception, design has always been a strategic element in the life,
the development and the success of ’paperJam’. it helps to emphasise its uniqueness.

design is much more than just making things look nice. design is a tool
for competitiveness and a tool for better life. It ads value and emotions
to products, services, communication and brands. it is increasingly
being used beyond this traditional remit as a strategic tool which
enhances performance and unlocks innovation.
design results from creativity, inspiration, skill, experience, intuition
and discipline. In the european year of creativity and innovation, design
luxembourg has set up an exhibition that disseminates not only the
relationship between design and innovation, but also demonstrates the
process of design, the role of the designer in luxembourg and the value
of design to business, culture and society at large.
the “design backstage” exhibition includes 21 design firms working
in all areas of design. together, they demonstrate the value of design
in luxembourg.
